ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY, SHOWERS AND EVEN A THUNDERSTORM IS POSSIBLE ON TUESDAY AS A COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE REGION… COOLER AND DRIER WEATHER FOLLOWS THE FRONTAL PASSAGE

For those of you who enjoy warmer weather, we here in Hampton Roads, have another couple of days of above normal temperatures. Then, a cold front will be approaching later Monday night bringing with it a period of rain/showers. Some heavy rain is possible and there is even a chance of a thunderstorm on Tuesday. The best chance of rain at this point is later Monday night into Tuesday morning. Cooler and less humid weather moves into the region behind the frontal passage. We should have a another rain-free period after Tuesday that should extend into next weekend.

The tropical Atlantic is quiet right now. Hurricane season ends on 30 November, so we still have to be vigilant. However, the chances of tropical cyclone development decrease every day.

That’s it for now.
