A SIGNIFICANT WARM-UP IS ON THE WAY… TEMPERATURES MAY REACH 70 DEGREES ON MONDAY… WE SHOULD STAY DRY UNTIL THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK

After a chilly start this Saturday morning, a southerly breeze will transport milder air into the region later today and especially tomorrow. As a high pressure ridge moves offshore the clockwise flow around it will bring us increasingly warmer temperatures each day through Monday at least. No major weather systems are expected over the next few days which means that we should stay dry until Wednesday. A frontal system should bring showers (and maybe even a rare winter thunderstorm to some spots) on Wednesday…. Last week at this time, we were dealing with the monster winter storm that buried areas to our north with heavy snow. The above normal temperatures up there should help to melt a lot of the snow… Temperatures should return to normal later next week. Normal highs at this time of year are in the upper 40’s. That’s it for now. Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!
