COOLER WEATHER WILL MOVE INTO THE MID-ATLANTIC STATES LATER IN THE WEEK

The warm front that moved through our region Sunday night brought nearly two inches of rain to my neighborhood. On Monday, the approaching cold front did not produce severe weather here locally in Hampton Roads. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch was issued Monday afternoon/evening and a Tornado Watch was issued after midnight. The cold front is moving through the Mid-Atlantic States this morning and we will have a couple of really nice days with pleasant temperatures. Another cold front will be approaching on Wednesday and there could be a few showers and even a thunderstorm with this front. However, there isn’t expected to be widespread development due to a limited moisture supply. Behind that front, our temperatures are expected to drop to below normal levels later in the week. Dry conditions should prevail for the most part Thursday and Friday. That’s it for now. Have a great day!
