HAMPTON ROADS WILL HAVE ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS INTO THE REGION… UNSETTLED WEATHER SEEMS LIKELY NEXT WEEK

Our string of nice weekends continues as high pressure builds in from the northwest. There will be some clouds at times but no significant precipitation is expected here in Hampton Roads. High temperatures should be in the lower 80’s, but it will be cooler near the water due to an onshore flow. Increased humidity combined with weak frontal systems are expected to bring us a period of unsettled weather beginning later Monday and it could last until the end of the week. At this point, it’s very difficult to nail down the timing and coverage of the rainfall. The NWS increases our rain chances beginning Monday night… Since it is now Hurricane Season, I will try to keep you posted on any potential development. The only area right now of any concern is in the southwestern Gulf of Mexico. At the current time, chances are very low that a tropical cyclone will develop in the next 48 hours. That’s it for now. Enjoy theĀ great weather this weekend!
