NICE WEATHER SHOULD LAST THROUGH MONDAY… A SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED TO BRING US SHOWERS ON TUESDAY

Today (Friday) will be warmer than yesterday as a southwesterly flow takes over. Due to the low relative humidity and the rather breezy conditions, the National Weather Service has issued an advisory regarding an increased fire danger today. So, please be mindful of that, especially during the afternoon and evening when winds are normally the strongest.  A weakening cold front is not expected to bring any significant precipitation to the Hampton Roads area on Saturday, but an isolated shower or sprinkle cannot be ruled out, especially in our northernmost areas. Saturday is expected to be a little cooler than today. We should stay dry though Monday but an approaching cold front is expected to bring us showers and possibly a thunderstorm on Tuesday. The exact timing of the rain is not certain right now. Much cooler weather is expected to follow the frontal passage during the middle part of next week. That’s it for now. Have a great day!
