FINALLY, WE SHOULD SEE SEVERAL NICE DAYS IN A ROW… THERE MAY BE SOME WET WEATHER AS WE HEAD TOWARDS THE WEEKEND

You know that spring is really here when weather forecasters say that temperatures will be cooler near the water. And that is what they are saying today (Tuesday, April 1st). A light northeast wind will┬ámake it cooler near the water as inland temperatures should reach into the 60’s. The bay and ocean take a long time to warm up during the spring season, so when the wind is blowing from a body of water, it will be cooler near those coastal areas… The low pressure system that brought the rain over the weekend and the windy conditions on Monday is now far out to sea. A cold front now moving through the Midwest should move through our region overnight tonight without any significant precipitation. The front will then return as a warm front but again, no major weather issues are expected. We will just see changes in wind direction and there will be some clouds at times. Later in the week, another cold front should approach and there might be some showers with that system. However, there is some uncertainty with the forecast for Friday and beyond so I’ll have an update later in the week on the weekend forecast… It’s nice to see the grass starting to grow again as the landscape is turning green. Of course, allergy sufferers know what this means… that pollen season cannot be far behind. That’s it for now. Have a great day!
