THE WEEKEND SHOULD START OUT NICE WITH SEASONAL TEMPERATURES… ON SUNDAY, MILDER AIR MOVES IN BUT SO DO THE CLOUDS AND POSSIBLY SOME LIGHT RAIN OR SHOWERS… THE UNSETTLED WEATHER SHOULD CONTINUE ON MONDAY WITH MILD TEMPERATURES

Weather systems that have brought rainfall to Hampton Roads over the past several weeks have been relatively weak only bringing light amounts of rainfall to SE VA. This weekend we will see another system bring just a little light rain or showers to parts of the region. Another slightly stronger system may affect us on Monday. High pressure should remain in control on Saturday bringing plenty of sunshine, but clouds will be on the way. The low pressure area will pass well to our northwest on Monday so due to the counter-clockwise flow , south to southwesterly winds will bring warmer air along with a chance of showers. High pressure will build back in by mid-week bringing drier and cooler conditions.
