A FRONTAL BOUNDARY KEEPS THE WEATHER A BIT UNSETTLED ON SUNDAY… WARMER AIR MOVES INTO THE REGION ON MONDAY… A COLD FRONT SHOULD BRING SOME RAIN LATE MONDAY INTO TUESDAY FOLLOWED BY COOLER WEATHER

As I type this post, an area of rain is moving across Hampton Roads. There is a very slow moving frontal boundary just to our north and this front is expected to begin moving northward as a warm front later today. Overall Sunday should turn out okay after a rather damp start to the day. After a potentially foggy start in some locations Monday morning, the beginning of the work week is expected to start out on the warm side for this time of year. However, a cold front will be approaching the region and this will raise rain chances as we head into Monday night. The chance of rain will linger into Tuesday and temperatures will be falling behind the front. High pressure is expected to build in on Wednesday with drier weather expected. Although there is a possibility of a low pressure area sliding south of the region later in the week, dry weather is expected by weather forecasters.
