THE MILD WEATHER PATTERN WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MID-WEEK… TEMPERATURES DROP LATER IN THE WEEK… THE COLD FRONT MAY BRING SOME SHOWERS ON WEDNESDAY BUT MOST OF THE WEEK IS EXPECTED TO BE DRY

If you haven’t decorated your home for the holidays or if you have raking to do (as I do today), Sunday’s weather will be nearly perfect for these outdoor activities. The mild weather will continue into Wednesday, but a cold front should be approaching by then. This frontal passage will bring us back to reality on Thursday with much cooler temperatures expected. At this point in time, the front doesn’t look like a big weather maker so only a chance of a few showers is currently what is being predicted for Wednesday… Meanwhile, parts of the West Coast are getting slammed by yet another round of heavy rain (and snow in the higher elevations) along with strong winds. Flooding is a big problem in some areas. A persistent upper-level low pressure system and a rather long stream of moisture from the North Pacific Ocean are the causes of the repeated blasts of storminess along the West Coast… That’s it for now. Enjoy the mild weather while it lasts.
