THANKSGIVING DAY WILL BE NICE BUT A LITTLE BREEZY… WE WARM UP BRIEFLY ON FRIDAY AND THEN TEMPERATURES DROP OVER THE WEEKEND

First of all, Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! For the past several days, we’ve had a continuous north and northeast wind keeping us on the cool side of normal. Offshore low pressure combined with a high to our north caused this wind and it continues today, Thanksgiving Day. However, changes are on the way as Friday should be a milder day with temperatures expected to get into the 60’s. A cold front will move through Friday night and behind that front, temperatures will be much colder. The forecast high temperature for Saturday is 48 degrees! No significant rain is expected with this frontal passage. As a matter of fact, I don’t think we will see any significant rain throughout the entire weekend. The real good news is that the weather should not be an issue for travelers and shoppers through the holiday weekend here in the Mid Atlantic States.
