A NORTHEAST WIND KEEPS US ON THE COOL SIDE FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS… CLOUDS SHOULD INCREASE AS LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPS OFF THE CAROLINA COAST… COASTAL FLOODING IS ALSO POSSIBLE IN SOME AREAS

High pressure to our north will maintain a northeast wind flow for the next few days. Low pressure is expected to develop off the Carolina coast on Sunday which may bring a little moisture into the region, especially Sunday night. At this time, not much rain is expected. The highest chances of rain will be in the southeast portion of the region. This morning, there is a clear blue sky, but cloudiness is expected to move in either later today or tonight. Due to the persistent onshore flow, tides will be a little above normal which is expected to result in some coastal flooding in some flood prone areas. High pressure is expected to build in later in the week bringing back more sunshine. Temperatures aren’t expected to change that much over the next several days.
