TROPICAL STORM DEBBY FORMS IN THE GULF OF MEXICO AND IS THE EARLIEST 4TH STORM EVER IN THE ATLANTIC BASIN

This is just a brief post to let you know that Tropical Storm Debby has formed in the Gulf of Mexico. This storm is the 4th storm of the 2012 hurricane season. This is the earliest 4th storm in the Atlantic basin’s recorded history! Debby beat out Dennis in 2005, which was an incredibly active season. The models are having trouble determining which direction Debby will go. Some have it going towards Texas and another model has it going towards Florida. For the next 48 hours, she probably won’t go that far since steering winds are weak. I’ll have more on Debby in my Sunday morning post.
