A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL KEEP THINGS UNSETTLED ON SUNDAY, BUT IT WON’T BE A WASHOUT… DRIER AND COOLER WEATHER MOVES IN FOR MONDAY AND TUESDAY

Just a quick update on the current conditions… A cool northerly flow has stabilized the atmosphere so that severe weather is highly unlikely this afternoon and evening (Sunday). Current radar indicates that most of the convection is well south of Hampton Roads. No significant rainfall has occurred and it has just been overcast most of the afternoon. Below is the remainder of this morning’s post that is still relevant… Another three quarters of an inch of rain fell in my neighborhood yesterday bringing the total to 1.50 inches since Friday. The system will move offshore Monday morning and a brief cooling trend will set in along with drier conditions. According to forecasters, the dry weather should last the rest of the week. Thanks for reading and have a great day.
