THE COLD AIR IS HERE BUT IT WILL ONLY LAST A FEW DAYS… A DRY WEEK IS EXPECTED FOR THE MOST PART

The current surface map shows a large low pressure area over Eastern Canada with high pressure centered¬†over the Western Plains states. The cold front associated with the low is now moving off the East Coast. Today (Monday) will be a much chillier day but the real cold air moves in on Tuesday. Lows Wednesday morning are expected to be around 20 degrees. A low pressure system is expected to develop offshore and it is not expected to bring any significant precipitation. However, a snow flurry cannot be ruled out. The cold air mass will move out into the Atlantic later in the week and we should see temperatures rebound to above normal by the time we get to the weekend. That’s it for now. Have a great day and thanks for reading.
