THE WEATHER ON FATHER’S DAY WILL BE TYPICAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR… WARM, HUMID, AND A CHANCE OF A SHOWER OR THUNDERSTORM IN SOME SPOTS DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING

High pressure off the coast will maintain a mostly dry day for most of us here in SE VA on this Father’s Day. A very weak cold front to our west may touch off a shower or thunderstorm in spots later today. Temperatures will be warm and humidity levels will be relatively high making for an uncomfortable day for most of us. Behind the weakening cold front on Monday, it should be slightly cooler and drier. Look for a return of the heat and humidity later in the week.
