A COLD FRONT LIMPS THROUGH THE MID-ATLANTIC STATES ON SATURDAY… SUNDAY WILL BE NICER WITH PLENTY OF SUNSHINE… RAIN CHANCES INCREASE BY MID-WEEK

A very slow moving cold front will approach the area later Saturday bringing with it lots of clouds and a chance of a shower or storm in spots. Highest chances will be east of I-95. There were some showers late last night which brought about a quarter of an inch of rain to my neighborhood. The chances of rain today (Sat) aren’t that great but forecasters believe that some areas will see a shower or storm. A band of showers and storms lies just offshore this morning. Once the front moves through tonight, the flow will be drier and the sun should be out most of Sunday. Monday looks great and then we’ll have to deal with another slow moving frontal system that could bring some wet weather by the middle of the week. The tropics remain quiet in the Atlantic basin. I’ll have an update on Sunday.
