THE WET WEATHER IS OVER FOR NOW AND BY MID-WEEK, WE MAY HAVE MORE RAIN… MONDAY WILL BE A SUNNY DAY BUT ON THE BREEZY SIDE… TEMPERATURES SHOULD BE AT SEASONAL LEVELS

Well, I picked up another 0.40 inches Saturday night making the total for the weekend 1.20 inches. The large low pressure system that has been responsible for the blizzards and severe weather is slowly moving through the Great Lakes region and it’s associated cold front will be crossing our region later today. Right now (Sunday morning), we are in the warm sector of this large storm system. For you weather enthusiasts or for anyone studying meteorology, it’s really a classic looking storm on the weather map with the occluded front and all of the isobars surrounding the low. The pressure gradient associated with this storm system will create our breezy/windy conditions through Monday. Monday should feature plenty of sunshine and actually we should start seeing the sun later today (Sunday). Tuesday should be nice, also. However, the active pattern is expected to continue and yet another low pressure system will be approaching on Wednesday.¬†As a result, we should see some rain or showers some time on Wednesday but it is way too soon to get into any detail on that system.
