A NICE WEEKEND SEEMS LIKELY IN HAMPTON ROADS… AFTER A BRIEF WARM UP, WE COOL BACK DOWN

Saturday looks to be fantastic as high pressure remains in control of our weather. Temperatures rebounded nicely Friday afternoon after a frosty morning. A weak cool front will slip in from the north turning our winds to a more NE or E direction later in the weekend. This will cool us down a bit. Then, we have to see how close a low pressure gets to our area next week. Right now, the models do not bring that much moisture our way, but stay tuned. Saturday starts the new month and we should see more of an active weather pattern develop over the next few weeks as winter approaches. The jet stream normally migrates southward in November bringing more storminess to our nation. On average, the number of windy days increases during November. It’s not an especially wet month for our area but every November is different. I’ll have an update on Sunday.
